About Us

The Holy Island Ministry area – Bro Cybi

The four churches within the Ministry area are: St Cybi’s in Holyhead,
St David’s in Morawelon, St Ffraid’s in Trearddur Bay and St Gwenfaen’s in Rhoscolyn.

The name ‘Ministry Area’ reflects the fact that the ministry and mission of the Church – serving the people of the local community – is the responsibility of all Church people.

Hello!

I am delighted to be the new Ministry Area Leader at such an exciting time, building on the excellent work that has been envisioned and carried out over the past few years.

Our big news is that St Cybi’s is now open for Sunday and Midweek services [although not yet for Special Occasions (Baptisms, Funerals and Weddings)]. The building work has taken longer than anticipated but the new layout means the space is so much more flexible and we look forward to being able to host a number of new events.

The next of these (after Remembrance Sunday) will be the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 29th November between 11am and 6pm, to coincide with Holyhead’s Christmas Lights Switch On.  Do come and join us.

I hope many of you will find your way back through our doors.

With many thanks and blessings

Kathryn Evans
